Paw prints

We had some winter weather today, for the first time this year, or really any year in recent memory. The Richmond Weather Bubble has held up for so long, it was nice to see it burst, even if it only meant that we got a bit of sleet and frozen stuff on the ground. The cool thing about that is that when to dogs ran out at lunchtime (the frozen stuff had turned to melted stuff by the evening), they made paw prints in the slush.

When the guys come in after being out in the inclement weather, they always need to be dried off. Chili comes in first, because he's pushy. He REALLY likes to get dried off, because it gives him a good opportunity to try to eat the towel. All the wriggling makes it an interesting chore. Cozby is a bit easier. He likes to get dried off as well, as long as you talk sweet to him and go gentle on his feet. No wriggling at all. They're funny, and now they're apparently really hungry.
